I remember the day of your birth five years ago today. And, like every parent, you were beautiful and perfect (and still are) to me.
And I remember that a day or two after you were born, Grandma and Abuelo came to see you. So I called the nursery and asked if they could bring you to my room. Some time passed and eventually a nurse came in to say that they could not find you. I was too groggy with painkillers, or else already too sleep deprived, to think much of it. (more…)
