I love California. I’m a native Californian. But sometimes, you just have to poke fun at California.
Here in California WE like to think, and we like the rest of the nation to think, that everyday is like this.

And like this.
And of course, this.
But never, ever, this.
OK, well maybe sometimes that. . .such as twice a year, or thrice, or uhm, you know, just about 35+ days, or so. Anyways, who really cares about that, eh? Because really, again, it is usually like this.
But two days ago, the unspeakable happened.
And I kid you not.
Now you must understand, we Californians sometimes mistake hail for snow.
Both cold.
Both white.
Both small.
So, yep, must be snow or something. . . .
Cut us some slack, we really don’t see the stuff much. And if you think we’re bad at IDing it, you should see us try and drive in it!
But yes, two days ago, Mother Nature was kind enough to treat us to a whole yard full of the real white stuff! And that hasn’t happened in about 30 years or so. Naturally, we were quite excited. And true to form, we acted like Californians – - such as dressing in proper fashion sense. . .
This sweet gal was at the park just as it was starting to fall, hence it’s not covering the ground yet. I think the shorts were worn because California snow is actually warmer, or something like that. Yep, warmer, uh-huh.
Yes, yes, I know we have great skiing in Cali, but the whole Golden image calls for some sunny beaches. So, for now, again, we’ll just stick with this.
